Captain Casey

MAC-ATAC Sportfishing, of Fairhaven, MA, is proud to announce that Capt. Casey Allen will be returning for a fourth season as an associate Captain and will again be taking clients fishing aboard the MAC-ATAC for the 2012 season.

Capt. Allen has extensive experience navigating the local and offshore waters. Casey worked for 6 years with the late Capt. Henry Cebula, aboard the ‘Seablitz’ fishing for lobsters off the Southern New England coast. Casey also successfully took many charters captaining the MAC-ATAC in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Casey has a 50 ton USCG captain’s license and has worked extensively for his father, Capt. Clint Allen - owner of New Bedford Marine Rescue / TowBoat U. S., as a rescue boat captain charged with retrieving disabled vessels and marine salvage work.

From the summer of 2008 to summer of 2009, Casey was hired by the Coalition for Buzzards Bay and was in charge of the Coalition’s research vessel ‘Baykeeper’ and all of the related activities.

During the summer of 2012, Casey will be working as a Towboat U.S. captain in conjunction with his work as a fishing guide aboard the MAC-ATAC. This will allow Casey to be on the water 5-6 days a week and remain in touch with the latest developments. Casey is also an avid fisherman and spends his leisure time beach fishing. Casey is accomplished with live eels and at casting plugs and his skills will bring a new dimension to the overall capabilities of MAC-ATAC Sportfishing.

Casey will be available for day and night charters and will specialize in light tackle fishing.

As always, MAC-ATAC Sportfishing remains dedicated to providing clients with safe and exciting inshore and offshore fishing experiences.
